Friends of Independent Arts

We really hope that you consider becoming a Friend of Independent Arts.

Upon joining, new members will receive a welcome pack including an introductory letter, newsletter, information leaflet and car sticker.

Other benefits include:

  • An annual update from our Chief Executive on the progress of the charity’s work
  • Invitations to our public events and celebrations
  • Our newsletter and updates every quarter
  • Acknowledgement of your support on our website

Obviously, the real reason for joining is not the benefits listed above, but instead providing your commitment to support the work of Independent Arts.  The work we undertake in both care homes and the wider community reaches out to vulnerable people across the Isle of Wight and beyond. Independent Arts does not receive regular statutory funding, so the charity constantly has to fundraise to sustain our creative outputs.

The annual Friends of Independent Arts membership costs £11. This represents the 11 hours it is estimated that isolated older people have left in their day to fill after attending to washing, dressing, eating and sleeping.
