Independent Arts named as nominated charity for inaugural Cowes Fringe
Independent Arts is really pleased and proud to be selected as the nominated charity of Cowes Fringe, a brand new quirky and creative showcase of talent, taking place 26th-28th May 2023.
The first ever Cowes Fringe promises to be an explosion of art and culture, through performances and workshops, and we are looking forward to being a part of it all! As well as being supported by the event via donations through their website, we will also be hosting workshops and pop-up events throughout the weekend, all to be revealed soon!
Lisa Gagliani MBE, Independent Arts chief executive said of the partnership: “As an island-wide charity since 1987 we are thrilled to have been chosen to be charity partner of Cowes Fringe. Together we are on a mission to celebrate everything that is creative, cultural and wonderful about the Isle of Wight and to do this in Cowes, a principal town and gateway, is a perfect way to raise awareness and help us to improve the wellbeing of local residents through the arts.”
The founder and director of Cowes Fringe added: “We are delighted to have Independent Arts on board as our chosen charity. The amazing work they do, to change and enhance lives through art, is very much in alignment with our own mission at Cowes Fringe.”
